Turkana
The drive from South Horr to Loiyangalani is short and usually sunny, windy and hot. Not so this January. The thick and warm Nairobi jackets were still in need. Approaching the largest Wind Project South of the Sahara, it started raining cats and dogs flooding the road in no time. It turned out to be a bad omen for the continuation of our tour. Only our Turkana friends, who have settled down near our picnic site at the shores of the lake, kept our spirits high with their vigorous and joyful dancing.
