Part I, Southern part of CBD
The Southern CBD & Railway Origins
Uncover Nairobi’s roots, political milestones, and early railway history.
Highlights: Nairobi Railway Museum & Station, KICC Rooftop (360° city view), Kenyatta Mausoleum, Parliament, City Hall, Law Courts, Dedan Kimathi Statue, and August 7th Memorial Park.
When: Saturday/Sunday Mornings | 09:30 AM – 03:00 PM
Meeting Point: Nairobi Railway Museum (Mombasa Rd Access)
Part II, Northern part of CBD
The Northern CBD & Colonial Centers
Explore colonial landmarks, vibrant bazaars, and iconic cultural institutions.
Highlights: Norfolk Hotel, National Theatre, University of Nairobi, Jeevanjee Gardens, Jewish Synagogue, Jamia & Khoja Mosques, Biashara Street, McMillan Library, Kipande House, and Freedom Corner.
The Grand Finale
Both tours conclude at the historic Sarova Stanley Hotel, where you can relax over lunch or a snack at the legendary Thorn Tree Café.
BOOKING INFORMATION
PART I
- Start: 09.00 am at the Railway Museum (Access by car from Mombasa Road)
- End: about 1 pm at New Stanley Hotel (possibility to have a snack)
- Participants: min. 4, max. 10
- Costs:
- KES 5,500/- per person/resident
- KES 6,500/- per person non-resident
- This includes all entrance fees.
- Please, carry your ID or Passport for prove of resident status
- Inquire about costs for smaller groups
PART II
- Start: 9.00 am in front of National Theatre where you can park your car safely
- End: about 1 pm at New Stanley Hotel (possibility to have a snack)
- Participants: min. 4, max. 10
- Costs:
- KES 4,500/- per person resident
- KES 5,500/- per person non-resident
- This includes all entrance fees
- Please, carry your ID or Passport for prove of resident status
