South Horr
South Horr, this cute Samburu village in an oasis at the foot of mount Ng’iro, gains always a special place in the hearts of TEKWA’s clients. Accommodation is simple but allows you to spend a day in the midst of the local people. A visit to the local Primary School for mainly nomadic children, which our groups like to support, is always a highlight. Headmaster Paul and his Deputy Hassan have managed to steadily increase the number of girl students and for the last years they have outnumbered the boys.
